How your business/organisation can support one of our campaigns.

The Mother - Keeping Digital

The Keeping Digital Foundation (previously York Pi Jam), has a new and ambitious mission. As part of the restructure, we want to make York digitally inclusive! But what does that mean? We want to provide a new technology support buddy system across York to allow people who are usually excluded from technology to get digital (and keep digital!). Not only will this provide them with support as the world goes digital, but it also will combat loneliness and help them find new hobbies but also find vital support that isn't always published in the local newspapers.

Keeping Digital are looking for partners who can help broadcast our messages, but also we're looking for partners who can help us with the recruitment of volunteers and help us with our mission to make York digital!

In return, you get a fancy 'Partner of Keeping Digital' certificate and your logo will be on our Partners list on our website (plus a few cheeky social mentions). And you get that warm fuzzy feeling when you do something to benefit your local community!

Digital Making x Young People

York CoderDojo is all about the young people of York! We want to help them get vital skills that will aid them throughout their education and later life. The skills that can be picked up through digital making include digital skills, creativity skills, problem solving skills and so much more. And the best thing is all events & workshops are free! We don't charge for any equipment used, and the mentors are all volunteers! And, we support over 2,000 young people every year both online and in-person (that's a lot of young people)

York CoderDojo are looking for partners who can help fund new equipment and also help with venue hire.

The above... but make it Selby!

Therefore, Selby CoderDojo is all about the young people of Selby! We also want to help them get vital skills that will aid them throughout their education and later life, but without the hassle of travel. Selby CoderDojo is a new organisation that has been set up by York CoderDojo, and they are currently recruiting volunteers to run these bi-monthly events. Mentors and Champions are all volunteers and their dedication to our organisations are greatly appreciated by our teams.

The fun family-friendly event!

Here is the fun one! MakerFest are free, family-friendly events. They include talks and workshops that are not there to be boring and educational, but instead hands on and allows people of all ages to try something new and to pick up new hobbies. Why would you want to sit and hear someone talk about something, when you could be sat there doing it for yourself? The York MakerFest is at the amazing National STEM Centre in York, and will be able to host just over 200 attendees. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, both the 2020 and 2021 events have been postponed but our teams are making plans to get back to normal!

MakerFest are looking for partners who can help us with funding, broadcasting/coverage, catering... chances are we could do with your help!

In return, you get a fancy 'Partner of MakerFest' certificate and your logo will be on their Partners list on their website (plus a few cheeky social mentions). We'll throw your logo on banners, branding, tickets, flyers, schedules...and you get that warm fuzzy feeling when you do something to benefit your local community!
